Our Emergency Department is in need of a Registered Nurse on a Full time basis.

With 52 beds and more than 41,000 patient-visits a year, the emergency room at Texas Health Plano is well-equipped and one of the largest in Collin County. Board-certified physicians and registered nurses provide personalized care for emergency room patients. Although wait-times vary depending on the seriousness of a patient's condition, the hospital's 30-Minute Promise alleviates the worry that comes with a long wait.

Qualifications for this position include:

* Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs. For RNs hired after Jan 2014 completion of BSN within 3 years of THR RN start date as defined in offer letter.

* Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas; Current RN licensure

*ACLS and Current AHA BLS training.

*PALS, TNCC required within 6 mos of hire

* One year experience in the Emergency Department or Critical Care area


* Computer skills, customer service skills.

In addition, you must hold a high degree of confidentiality and positive interpersonal skills and basic computer skills
